Nathan Smith is a designer based in Los Angeles who provides design services as well as rendering fabrication, website creation, curatorial guidance, graphic design, visual conception, and post-production graphics.

After receiving his BARCH from California State Polytechnic University San Luis Obispo, Nathan relocated to New York and worked for numerous advanced design offices including Asymptote Architecture and Leong Leong Architecture. He then attended Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture Planning and Preservation, receiving his Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design. Nathan graduated from GSAPP receiving the Honor Award for Excellence in Design with Distinction as well as having all of his studio work published in the 2010/2011 Abstract, an annual publication which showcases the top projects for each studio. He also received the Lucille Smyser Lowenfish Memorial Prize for the TEDx BOx studio project.

Nathan is now back in Los Angeles persuing a range of design work from spatial to graphic. He is currently working as the environmental design manager and senior designer at Faraday Future as well as collaborating concurrently with The Living. Nathan has also previously worked for AUX Architecture and Atelier Hitoshi Abe.
